Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron were spotted leaving Orso restaurant in West Hollywood last night, holding hands and celebrating the latter’s 20th birthday.Celebrity gossip follows this couple everywhere, as columnists wonder if the pair is still together (obviously so) and/or if Hudgens will be replaced in High School Musical 3 by either Adrienne Bailon or Sabrina Bryan (it’s unclear).

Vanessa Anne Hudgens is a young actress best known for her appearances on The Disney Channel, including her starring turn in the TV movie High School Musical (2006). Hudgens grew up in southern California and began her acting career before she was in her teens. She began getting roles on television in 2002, and soon landed roles in the feature films Thirteen (2003) and Thunderbirds (2004, directed by Jonathan Frakes). Already a regular guest on the Disney comedy series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, she was picked to star opposite Zac Efron in the made-for-TV romance High School Musical. The movie was a hit and the soundtrack reached the top of Billboard's charts, and Hudgens went on to secure a record deal.

While most of the cast of the hugely successful High School Musical are busy with the movie’s Ice Tour in NYC, Vanessa Hudgens was out and about with her family. She spent one day having a lunch outing with her mother and sister; and the next night, Vanessa had fun raising money for charity. She attended a Lucky Strike Lanes event with her younger sister, Stella, for the Best Buddies International charity fundraiser. Vanessa Hudgens showed off her bowling skills and gamely posed for fans while holding a bright orange bowling ball. Then yesterday, the cutie teen star was spotted in braids while going to an early morning meeting at The William Morris Agency in Los Angeles. Maybe the meeting was about the negotiations with HSM 3. According to Life & Style, Zac Efron was offered $3.25 million to star in HSM 3 while Vanessa Hudgens was only offered $1.3 million dollar! What’s that supposed to mean?? And thus, the negotiations continue. Of course, everybody is hoping Vanessa and Disney will reach an agreement. After all, HSM 3 is to hot to pass up for both sides!
